I Was Reading The N.Y. Times Today...

...and found this obituary about a sewer park designer, who designed one of New York's most popular parks, the Riverbank Park which opened in 1993. The neighborhood in which a sewage plant was to be built objected because they were poor and black. Read what happened here:
