I have a Google news alert for the word "sewer." I have used it for years to find interesting tidbits to post here when the news is slow in our little (but famous) corner of the sewer world. It is always amusing to find the postings for the word that are referencing a needle and thread or a sewing machine! Such is the oddball English language.
Anyway, I ran across an article that illuminated a unique reason for declining hooking up to a sewer. One would have thought with our deep and extensive decades-long sewer war that this might have come up here, but it did not.
