Moving this sign from the eastern area of Los Osos on Los Osos Valley Road to near our town's famous hamburger joint has not helped to capture more signatures. Right now, 9:24 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, there are 295 signatures of the 5,000 wanted, the last signing twenty-one days ago. The petition was started on January 27, 2012, four months ago or one hundred and twenty five days.
The message on the sign isn't clear, the lettering too small and confusingly outlined to really see in a drive-by; those could be the reasons for the petition's failure. Or perhaps people just would rather finish this present sewer project than sign a petition to nowhere??
